Learning Methodology

Vue Consulting is a training firm.  We understand how to transfer new ideas, skills and tools to Professional Services Advisers like you.  That is the skill of a trainer.  This means that training is not simply about the content you will learn, but the understanding, retention and implementation of that content by you for months and years after.  The learning process is more important than the content.

Few people can learn new skills – to a proficient level – in a single day.  You may learn the basics or the theory, but until practice occurs multiple times in on-the-job conditions, it is unlikely your new skills will be retained.  As a result, it is best if you think of our learning experience as extended processes, rather than “a day of training”.  You will benefit from our training methodology:  ANALSE CREATE MOTIVATE

Analyse

The ANALYSE phase is about preparation.  Studies reveal that around 40% of the success lies in the preparation by the participants and their managers.

  • Discussions with your firm or management to discuss outcomes
  • Introduction and preparation work for all participants
  • A Workbook for Managers with coaching and mentoring tips
  • Learning and Design recommendations for the entire experience
Create

The CREATE phase involves the face to face learning activities.  This includes the Workshops, follow-up group Conference Calls and any 1:1 Coaching.

  • Delivery of all facilitated Workshops, onsite at your own premises
  • Engaging, interactive and practical adult-learning techniques
  • Ability to incorporate your own processes, documents or data
  • Printing and supply of all Workshop materials and training aids
Motivate

The MOTIVATE phase is about on-the-job follow-through.  Studies reveal that a further 40% of success lies in this phase.  MOTIVATE includes...

  • A weekly online, interactive training course for participants for nine weeks
  • Access to Vue Consulting for email coaching during the email course
  • A review Conference Call for participants after the last Workshop
  • Optional  1:1 coaching sessions and/or Review Workshops
