David W. King Managing Director, Vue Consulting David W. King has more than 15 years direct experience in sales, people management and business development in retail sales, investment banking and private banking.

Successful Sales and Executive Manager

Working with some of the world’s best salespeople and managers in New York, Tokyo, London, Sydney and Brisbane, David has amassed an enviable track record of sales success.

Prior to founding Vue Consulting, David was based in London working as a Senior Manager for investment bank BNP Paribas. David personally led the sales and execution teams responsible for capital raising of over $10 billion for global clients such as BHP Billiton, Anglo American, Cadbury Schweppes, BP, Marks & Spencer and Diageo.

Each of these capital raisings involved the production of legal documents, information memorandums, presentation materials, investor roadshows and various forms of financial structuring.

David also worked for the US investment bank JPMorgan in executive, sales and structuring roles in Sydney, New York, Tokyo and London assisting global companies around the world with their financing.

In Australia, David was an Associate Director with ANZ Private Bank, running a team of Brisbane-based Private Bankers providing relationship management and advisory solutions to high net worth individuals.

David has a Bachelor of Economics with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland. He also has a Diploma of Financial Planning and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Training. David is also a Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators and the Australian Institute of Training and Development.  

David has previously facilitated technical training for Financial Services Advisors undertaking their Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning, with Kaplan Professional and participated as a guest lecturer with Queensland TAFE in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

David is an experienced business executive and acts as a Non-Executive Director of Synergen Met Limited and is a former Non-Executive Director of Bakers Investment Group (Australia).

David has a fantastic family he loves spending time with, enjoys playing the drums, tennis, golf and cricket, has a more than passing interest in wine and loves being back in Brisbane.
