Speaking FAQs

Can the topics be adjusted?

The speaking topics can be adjusted, particularly around available time.  But specific “hot topics” can be addresses upon request and discussion.  If there is something in particular that is on your audiences mind or a common thread among conference speakers, we can happily adjust the presentation.

What locations can David travel to?

David has spoken in Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Gympie, Mackay, various Sunshine Coast locations, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne and Darwin.  Perth is definitely on the agenda as well.

Can David talk for longer or shorter?

Yes.  Each presentation is modular so that topics can be dropped or added seamlessly depending on your available time.  30-minute lunch time briefings can be short and punchy around 2-4 core topics, while 90-minute conference sessions can involve participant activities/discussions and allow for more topics or examples.

What topics are specifically covered?

We would be happy to run you through any speech in detail.  We can also conduct a dress rehearsal of the session if you would like to adjust anything or be certain your expectations will be met.

Can the handouts be tailored/branded?

Yes – they can be tailored to include internal websites, company branding or various other specific items.

What is this going to cost?

Costs depend on the length of the speech, audience size, location, type of presentation, audience content and numerous other matters.  Please contact us to discuss.

What A/V equipment is required?

Typically, David presents with a few slides, so a laptop and projector are required.  Rest assured it’s not “death by PowerPoint”. Rather, most of the speeches are interactive and the presentation can provide key visuals for this.  For small gatherings, the laptop can be forgone and a more informal discussion held.  For extremely large audiences where a projector is just not feasible, the activities are simplified (say, choice of 2 answers rather than 4) and more of a story element is utilised.  David prefers a lapel microphone if microphones are required.
